The film is an epic drama of over three and a half hours, starring Adrien Brody as László Tóth, a Hungarian architect and Holocaust survivor who builds a new future in the USA. Impressive performance by Brody and visually striking cinematography. The film was shot in VistaVision and received several Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Director and Actor.
